Trade Fair L.A.B. UK in 2011

The second L.A.B., the European Trade Fair and Conference for Analysis, Bio and Laboratory Equipment in the UK will be held in 2011. Leipziger Messe (Germany) has announced the cancellation of the event for 2009. This decision has been taken in agreement with the trade fair's advisory supporters, the German industrial Association SPECTARIS, the English association GAMBICA and the French cooperative association Fabrilabo.

"Given the current difficult overall economic situation, a representative presentation from the industry could not have been guaranteed this year", was how Leipziger Messe managing director Martin Buhl-Wagner explained the decision for the new scheduling. The strategic development of the L.A.B. had to be adjusted in line with the forecasts for market development and the response of the industry to trade shows. Together with the industry's associations, work was already under way on a concept for the 2011 event.
